Crash Ensemble open their Project Arts Centre Residency with a concert on 2 November
Following the announcement of their residency at the Project Arts Centre Dublin in July, and a successful crowd-funding campaign for commissioning funds, the Crash Ensemble are performing their first concert at the venue, called ‘Thought’. The concert is named for the crowd-funded commission Thought by American composer Glenn Branca, which will receive its premiere, as will Irish composer Kevin Volans’ Looping Point.
Also on the programme is music by Nico Muhly in the form of previous commission Drones, Variations, Ornaments, and a new arrangement of co-director Donnacha Dennehy’s Disposable Dissonance.
The concert takes place on Friday, 2 November, Project Arts Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin at 8:00pm.
