Irish Composers' Collective presents David Bremner - New Works for Piano

On 23 November the Irish Composers’ Collective will present a concert of new solo piano works performed by the pianist, organist and composer, David Bremner A previous performer at the Irish Composers' Collective series earlier this year, Bremner returns this November to premiere new works by composers Daniel J. Barkley, Hugh Boyle, Piaras Hoban, Brenda Kearney, Ryan Molloy, Adam McCartney and Natasa Paterson in the intimate setting of the Kevin Barry Room at the National Concert Hall.

David Bremner has performed with many of Dublin’s leading ensembles, including the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, and Crash Ensemble. In spring 2010 he accompanied Imelda Drumm and Julian Hubbard in a critically acclaimed tour by Opera Theatre Company of The Schumann Story. Current projects include Béal, a music company, which presented a festival of new music and text in early November 2010.

The Irish Composers’ Collective is a non-profit organisation that aims to provide Irish composers with a community for information, education and the pooling of resources in order to create concerts of their music with professional musicians. This event is in association with the National Concert Hall and is supported by the Arts Council.
