Dylan Rynhart has devised a performance series with a difference.

The Components series takes place from 14 March to 25 April at the Centre for Creative Practices in Dublin.

It features a series of new works by Irish composers developed over six concerts. Each week a collection of new Irish music will be written and performed. Each piece will be recorded, developed and used to accompany a musician at another performance in the series. This process will be repeated so that you can follow the development of the composers work through the series like a serial or a soap-opera.

The composers are David Bremner, Justin Carroll, Roy Carroll, Francis Heery, Dylan Rynhart and Ian McDonnell, and the performers are Paul Roe (clarinets), Colm O'Hara (trombone), Dan Bodwell (double bass), Kate Ellis (cello), David Bremner (Fender Rhodes piano) and Cathal Roche (saxophone). The series is curated by Dylan Rynhart.

Components Series. Sundays from 14 March - 25 April, 6.oopm (except Easter Sunday, 4 April). Centre for Creative Practices, 15 Lower Pembroke Street, Dublin 2.
