WNYC's New Sounds 'Music from Ireland' programmes are available to listen to online

John Schaefer launching CMCs new promotional album in March

The programmes were made following John Schaefer's visit Ireland in March of this year to attend the New Music Dublin festival and launch CMC’s latest promotional CD, new music::new Ireland 2.

Visiting Belfast, Dublin and Cork, the broadcaster and host of New Sounds on WNYC made 7 programmes from interviews and many recordings featured on CMC’s new CD.

Programmes include interviews and music from Irene Buckley and Linda Buckley, Ronan Guilfoyle and Gráinne Mulvey, Jonathan Nangle, Greg Caffrey and Neil Burns, Piers Hellawell, Bernadette Comac and Deirdre McKay, and Karen Power and John Godfrey.
