The Association of Irish Composers present a concert of flute music from Ireland and Bosnia-Herzegovina in Sarajevo and Dublin
The concerts will be given by Slovenian-born composer and flautist Hanan Hadžajlić and take place at the Bosniak Institute - Foundation of Adil Zulfikarpašić on 28 May and on 5 June at 12 Henrietta Street.
For the concert in Sarajevo, Irish composer John Buckley will travel with the support of Culture Ireland and the Contemporary Music Centre to give a pre-concert talk on his own work and on Irish contemporary music.
Hanan, who has been based in Sarajevo since 2005, will also perform a selection of works from the programme in Croatia later in June.
