WNYC new music presenter John Schaefer to visit Ireland in March

The Contemporary Music Centre is delighted to announce the visit of the highly regarded US broadcaster, author and cultural figure, John Schaefer to Ireland in March 2015. On the invitation of CMC, Presenter of New Sounds and Sound Check on WNYC Radio, John Schaefer will visit Belfast, Dublin and Cork and meet with the music community and beyond.

John will participate in the What? Wow – David Lang’s Festival of Music presented by New Music Dublin from 6-7 March 2015 and host the CMC's New Music Voices programme during the Festival - a series of panel discussions and public interviews that aim to create access for audiences to composers and performers. John will also be involved in other complementary events and projects during his time in Belfast, Dublin and Cork.
