Make your vote count by joining your local arts workers group!

The National Campaign for the Arts is urging everyone who works in the arts in Ireland in any capacity to join their local constituency arts workers group on Facebook.

We all know that politicians react when they think votes are involved, and numbers really count. Arts workers groups have now been formed in each constituency around the country and by joining, you can make your vote and your interest in the arts very visible.

Whether you are a composer, a performer or an arts administrator, if you earn part or all of your living by or through the arts in any capacity, please join the group for the area in which you vote.

To find your local group, visit the list on the NCFA web site. Joining is easy, and as the groups grow in size, the politicians will see how many people are directly involved in the arts in Ireland.
