The CMC Salon series returns in April and will feature a diverse and eclectic programme of events.
Drawn from an open call, the programmes were selected by Linda Buckley, who is the Salon curator for this year. Linda's stewardship of the series follows on from Siobhán Cleary in 2015, and Ian Wilson in 2014.
The venue for most of the events will be the Lutheran Hall, Adelaide Road, Dublin, and the series will run monthly from April until December, with a break during July and August.
Performers and composers featured in the series will include guitarist Redmond O'Toole (28 April), young composer and viola player Sebastian Adams (26 May), Sylvia O'Brien and Contempo Quartet (23 Jun), and Dublin Sound Lab (29 Sep). Also featured later in the year will be young saxophonist Gavin Brennan, and cellist Martin Johnson.
