Upcoming performances from Anne-Marie O’Farrell

Anne-Marie O’Farrell has a number of performances of her works taking place during autumn.

On 22 October, the composer and harpist will attend a workshop at Queen’s University Belfast with the Royal Quartet and soprano Colette Delahunt of her James Joyce song cycle Pomes Penyeach.

The premiere of two new works, Máirseail Luimní and The Cap and Gown, feature on 24 October at the graduation ceremony of Mary Immaculate College, where she is currently AEPE Composer in Residence. The following day, 25 October sees the performance of a new version of her Hoopoe Song for voice, flute and harp, performed in the Katharinenkirche in Stuttgart, Germany by mezzo Aylish Kerrigan, harpist Ulrike Neubacher and flautist Ulrich Stahlknecht.

She will also perform her works in a solo harp recital in Moscow at the Arpavita harp festival on 16 November, and a new album, Duopoly, with fellow harpist Cormac De Barra will be released in November.
