The first CD from Ergodos Records is released on 25 July 2010

Dubh

Dubh is the debut album from Amsterdam’s Trio Scordatura. The disc, which is the first release from Ergodos Records, presents seven tracks by seven Irish composers: Linda Buckley, Judith Ring, Enda Bates, Peter Moran, Scott McLaughlin, and Ergodos directors Garrett Sholdice and Benedict Schlepper-Connolly.

Trio Scordatura is made up of Alfrun Schmid (vocals), Elisabeth Smalt (violas) and Bob Gilmore (keyboard/electronics). The CD was recorded at Amplus Studios, Flanders, in 2009 and will be released at 3pm on 25 July 2010 at the Odessa Club, 13 Dame Court, Dublin. The launch takes place with the support of the Contemporary Music Centre. Physical copies, featuring package design by Neon Palms, may be ordered from www.ergodos.ie and shortly from CMC's online shop. The album is also available as a digital download from iTunes.
Dubh was produced with the assistance of a grant from the Music Network Recording Scheme.
