The announcement of the Crash Ensemble as ensemble-in-residence at Dublin’s Project Arts Centre is the start of a collaboration which will see new music at the heart of Dublin’s art scene. The Project Arts Centre in Temple Bar is a multi-disciplinary venue, dedicated to supporting innovation in all forms of art, just as Crash is in music. The residency should lead to a greater collaboration across art forms as well as a development in performance and experience of new music.

Over the next two years, the Crash Ensemble will perform a series of concerts in the Centre, beginning with the residency launch at Project Arts Centre on Friday, 31 August and a series of short intimate concerts, with the first major event of the residency occurring on 2 November, with a programme of works by Irish and American composers commissioned by the ensemble.
