New CMC Composers
The Board of CMC recently accepted six new composers for representation - David Collier, Patrick Connolly, Eric Skytterholm Egan, Ryan Molloy, Evangelia Rigaki and Jesse Ronneau.
David Collier is a Master in Music and Media Technology graduate of Trinity College Dublin where he studied composition with Linda Buckley and Donnacha Dennehy. He recently participated in the Young Composers Meeting in Apeldoorn, Netherlands.

Louth-born Patrick Connolly is a graduate of Dundalk Institute of Technology where he specialised in composition under the supervision of Eibhlís Farrell. A winner of the 2011 Seán Ó Riada trophy at the Cork International Choral Festival, his works include those for solo instruments, chamber choir and ensembles.
Eric Skytterholm Egan is an Irish-Norwegian composer based in the north of England whose music has roots in free improvisation, serialist processes and jazz. A graduate from the University of Durham where he studied with Richard Rijnvos, he recently participated in the New Music Dublin composer workshop with the Fidelio Trio.
Co. Tyrone composer Ryan Molloy recently completed his PhD in Composition at Queen’s University Belfast under the supervision of Simon Mawhinney and Piers Hellawell. Specialising in traditional Irish music, his work attempts to bridge the divide between traditional music and contemporary Irish art music.
Evangelia Rigaki is a Greek composer living in Dublin. She is currently an Assistant Professor in Composition at Trinity College Dublin, where she is also Director of the Music Composition Centre.
Originally from the USA, Jesse Ronneau has been living in Ireland since 2006 and is currently lecturer of Acoustic Composition and Contemporary Music at NUI Maynooth. His music, which features explorative instrumental techniques and extreme concentration on timbre, has been performed throughout the EU, the UK, the US, Asia, and Ireland
