As part of Library Week 2012, CMC hosts an introductory talk and tour of CMC's Library and Sound Archive.

The fourth Bottlenote Festival takes place from 15 - 17 November at Smithfield's Block T, bringing together Irish and international improvising artists from electronic to jazz and beyond, including Seán MacErlaine and Shane Latimer.

Pavlos Antoniadis, pianist and contemporary specialist, will give a lecture and recital on the topic of performance practice in complex piano music, including music by Mark Andre and Nicolas Tzortzis.

The Huddersfield festival, with the Crash Ensemble as its Ensemble in Residence, will have three concerts of new music, including the newly commissioned work by Glenn Branca, and a whole programme dedicated to the work of director Donnacha Dennehy.
