The final concert in the 2013 Horizons series will focus on the work of Ann Cleare in a programme that explores 'the idea of light travelling through a space'. Two of Cleare's works will receive their premieres, phôsphors…(of ether) and to another of that other, for which the RTÉ NSO will be joined by the ensemble ELISION.

The second of Concorde's 2013 Up Close With Music series presents a programme of two halves, the first of music by composers from Estonia, Finland and Great Britain, and the second of music by Irish composers Emma O'Halloran (Charm and Strange), Dave Flynn (Quirk No. 7). Jane O'Leary's Concorde-commissioned A Way Through will be played in both halves.
