The NewSoundWorlds series takes place at the Kevin Barry Room, NCH this month
Presented by Ireland Promoting New Music, the NewSoundWorlds series includes two concerts on Tuesday, 20 April and 4 May 2010.
The first concert features New York-based Irish pianist Isabelle O'Connell perform a programme built around George Crumb’s masterful Makrokosmos while the second concert is devoted to Morton Feldman’s iconic For John Cage, performed by violin and piano duo Darragh Morgan and John Tilbury, who have recently recorded the work for CD release.
The series is funded by IMRO and the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon and is presented in association with The National Concert Hall. Each concert begins at 8:30pm and tickets are €10/€5.
