A piece by Karen Power has won the IAWM prize.

Karen Power's piece the colourful digestive palette of slugs (2010) has been awarded the International New Genre Prize by the International Alliance of Women in Music (IAWM).

The piece was commissioned by RTE Lyric fm and was toured by the ensemble SCAW in February 2010.
