Film & TV composers and filmmakers networking event
The Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO), Filmbase and the Contemporary Music Centre host a networking event for film/TV music composers and filmmakers on 31 October 2012 from 1:00pm and 5:00pm.
The event, which takes place in the Carolan Room at the National Concert Hall, will provide a series of informative sessions, screenings, and panel discussions relating to film music composition and production, and is aimed at both aspiring and experienced film composers and filmmakers.
Speakers include conductor, composer and Director of Screen Training Ireland's Film Scoring Programme, Derek Glesson; composers Liam Bates and Ciarán Hope, who will participate in a Skype interview with CMC’s Information and Digital Services Manager, Jonathan Grimes.
There are a limited number of places available for the event. To have your name included in a draw for places please email keith.johnson@imro.ie and indicate in the email if you are a film & TV music composer or filmmaker. Successful applicants will be notified by email by Friday, 12 October.
