Interview with Ian Wilson

CMC Director Evonne Ferguson speaks to Ian Wilson about his Artist in the Community Scheme project which culminates in a new work for the Donegal Chamber Orchestra.

Ian Wilson has been working with the Donegal Chamber Orchestra under the Arts Council's Artist in the Community Scheme since June of this year. The scheme is managed by Create and the Arts Council and offers ensembles the opportunity to work closely with a professional artist on a regular basis.

The project has resulted in a new work, An tIarthar, written by Ian Wilson for the Donegal Chamber Orchestra. The work will be premiered by the orchestra and Concerto Málaga at An Grianán Theatre, Letterkenny, Co Donegal on 10 October 2010.
