Diatribe Solo Series 1 CD Launch and Concert
Highlights from a concert recorded in April 2010 featuring pianist Izumi Kimura and clarinetist Paul Roe, presented in association with CMC as part of the Diatribe Solo Series 1 CD launch.

Produced by Diatribe Records in conjunction with the Contemporary Music Centre, Solo Series I is a 4-CD set with individual albums by pianists Isabelle O'Connell and Izumi Kimura; clarinetist Paul Roe and guitarist and bass player Simon Jermyn. Altogether 25 contemporary composers including 16 Irish composers are featured. The series is partly funded by the Music Network/Arts Council Music Recording Scheme 2009 and Diatribe Recordings.
The series was launched on 16 April 2010 at the Contemporary Music Centre and was followed by short recitals given by Izumi Kimura and Paul Roe in the Kevin Barry Room at the National Concert Hall.
