Composers in the Classroom is a learning and participation programme delivered in a partnership between Chamber Choir Ireland and the Contemporary Music Centre. Some of Ireland’s leading composers mentor school students throughout Ireland in writing new choral works which are then rehearsed and recorded by the singers of Chamber Choir Ireland. In this event, CCI presents a selection of the works written by the students, and conducted by David Young.

Chamber Choir Ireland receives principal funding from the Arts Council/ an Chomhairle Ealaíon, support from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Dublin City Council, and is a resident ensemble at the National Concert Hall and Associate Artist to Dublin City University.
