'we have no prairies' (world premiere)

Ian Wilson's "we have no prairies" is the outcome work of a year-long project in West Cavan called "Restoring Cavan's Boglands", funded by Creative Ireland's "Creative Climate Action Fund II". It is a half-hour work for contrabass flute, contra-alto clarinet and soundtrack performed by Lina Andonovska and Cathal Roche.

The world premiere is presented on Culture Night at Belturbet Railway Station Museum, Co. Cavan.

A CD of the work will be available in late October.
