Taking Flight: A Fugal Adventure

Temescal Quartet present the premiere of a new work for string quartet by composer Jane O'Leary - ’Taking Flight’. The music in the programme features explorations of the concept of a fugue (to flee or to chase) across three centuries of music.  Also included are works by Bach, Haydn, Grieg, Fanny Mendelssohn and the Grosse Fuge by Beethoven.
