Clonmel Junction Arts Festival: Sisters with Transistors (film)

Narrated by Laurie Anderson, this documentary maps a new history of electronic music through the visionary women who redefined its boundaries, including Clara Rockmore, Daphne Oram, Pauline Oliveros, and Laurie Spiegel. The film will be introduced by celebrated Irish composer Dr Judith Ring.  Judith will be familiar to Clonmel audiences, having featured at Finding a Voice 2024 with her commissioned work The River Was Never Afraid, inspired by the River Suir.
