Chamber Choir Ireland: Composers in the Classroom

​​​​​​In the culmination of this year's Composers in the Classroom project, young composers from secondary schools across Ireland will hear their new pieces of choral music brought to life.

Since September, these students have worked with CMC Composers David Coonan, Norah Walsh, Alyson Barber and Áine Mallon and Chamber Choir Ireland as they created their own pieces of choral music. Now, they will hear their work performed by the singers of Chamber Choir Ireland, and guest conductor Matthew Quinn.

Composers in the Classroom is a learning and participation programme delivered in a partnership between Chamber Choir Ireland and the Contemporary Music Centre.
