HRSE Featured Young Artists: Samuel Kane and Rosie Murphy
Hard Rain are proud to present this recital in partnership with QUB School of Arts, English and Languages. Here, the HRSE Young Artists (also both composers in their own right) perform as soloists as well as forming a chamber duo. This year HRSE feature harpist Rosie Murphy who is currently studying classical music and sonology in The Hague Royal Conservatory. Alongside her is violinist Samuel Kane who is now in his final year of a Masters degree at the Royal Northern College of Music.
This programme features a range of virtuosic solos and ends with a duo from one of the worlds best known contemporary composers. It features Irish music, including new compositions from our two Young Artists, alongside international works from Lebanon, Slovenia and Estonia.
