NSQF Autumn Season: Banbha Quartet perform works by Tom Lane, Mendelssohn, Mozart & Silvestrov

Banbha Quartet: Lidia Jewloszewicz-Clarke, Maria Ryan, Robin Panter, Aoife Burke.
The Banbha Quartet was founded in 2020. Ukrainian composer Valentin Silvestrov’s ‘Ikon’ and a new work by Dublin-based composer Tom Lane lie at the heart of this programme for Banbha's third tour for the National String Quartet Foundation. The concerts open with a piece by Mozart and end with Mendelssohn’s E minor quartet.
The Dublin concert (Sunday 25th September, 3pm) will feature a CMC Composer's Voice Event with the composer Tom Lane in conversation with CMC's Projects, Programmes and Events Manager Linda O'Shea Farren.
