The Guinness Choir 'Sing Again' Concert featuring the world premiere of Judith Ring's 'The Weaver'

The Guinness Choir present their ‘Sing Again’ Concert in St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin on Saturday, 14th May 2022 at 7.30p.m.

Conducted by David Milne with guests Catherine Redding, Soprano; Niall O’Sullivan, Trumpet; David Leigh, Organ.

“Sing Again” – is a programme of popular choral pieces, chosen from The Guinness Choir's extensive repertoire in the 70 years since its founding, including Mozart’s ‘Ave Verum Corpus’, Bruckner’s ‘Locus Iste’, Rheinberger’s ‘Abendlied’, and Fauré’s ‘Cantique de Jean Racine’, along with works by Bach, Handel, Haydn, Gjeilo and Whitacre.

The programme will also include the first performance of ‘The Weaver’ by Judith Ring. This setting of a poem by Diane Tierney was specially commissioned by the Guinness Choir with support from the Arts Council of Ireland.
