Scottish guitarist Sean Shibe joins the Irish Chamber Orchestra for an evening of anniversary celebrations.
2020 marked the 50th Anniversary of the DICMF and the Irish Chamber Orchestra. DICMF is pleased to highlight over 50 years of music-making by two of Ireland’s vibrant establishments with a very special concert at Castletown House, birthplace of the Festival in 1970.
DICMF welcome back the Scottish guitarist Sean Shibe who will perform David Fennessy’s Rosewoods which was commissioned by both organisations to celebrate their respective landmark anniversaries in 2020. A kaleidoscope of music by Arnold, Dvořák, Elgar and Vivaldi will also feature in this summer evening concert.
