Access Contemporary Music (ACM) is proud to present the seventh annual Thirsty Ears Festival: Chicago’s only classical music street festival!

For two days Wilson street between Hermitage and Ravenswood will be closed to feature seventeen ensembles and soloists performing music from Beethoven to Shostakovich to Reich and everything in between on the main stage.

On August 13th, two works by composer Jane O'Leary will be performed by ensembles Wurtz/Berger and Palomar at 4pm and 8pm respectively, at the festival's main stage.

Jane O'Leary - 'Only Gestures Remain...' performed by Wurtz/Berger Duo at 4pm (Amy Wurtz, piano and Alyson Berger, cello).

Jane O'Leary - 'Sunshowers' performed at 8pm by Palomar Ensemble (sextet for fl,cl,vl,vc,pf,perc).

Tickets

The festival is free with a $10 suggested donation.  Any proceeds benefit the ACM School of Music, a non-profit organization.
