Re-inviting Chamber Music on Valentia artist Sarah Allen, flute player with Flook, in collaboration with Chamber Music on Valentia’s 2022 string and harpsichord players. Performing some of Chamber Music on Valentia's discoveries from 2020 in marking Turlough O'Carolan’s 350th anniversary. These arrangements reimagine music of the time as it might have been heard in Irish houses. Also programmed is a new work ‘Carolan and his friends’ by Michael Finnissy taking inspiration from original tunes by Turlough O'Carolan.
