Dr Róisín Blunnie (DCU) introduces two ongoing creative projects in Choral Studies: one a Creative Ireland-funded collaboration creating new choral compositions and learning resources for children, based on Irish seanfhocail; the other a bilingual music-and-spoken-word album, entitled Ghost Songs, combining contemporary Irish choral music by Rhona Clarke, Seán Doherty, and Michael Holohan, with readings by Paula Meehan, Dairena Ní Chinnéide, Marina Carr, and Carl Corcoran, and harp improvisations by Síle Denvir.
