The Scotia Ensemble perform an excerpt from Vivaldi's 'The Four Seasons' followed by a premiere of a new work, 'áit, ciúnas' by Kerry composer, Seán Ó Dálaigh.
The concert deals with the representation of Nature through history. The new work will be an experimental music piece featuring electronic music, recordings from nature, video, and music for the Scotia Ensemble.
Seán Ó Dálaigh is a composer and sound artist based in Kerry. Scotia area string ensemble based in Kerry.
The project has been funded by the Arts Council with the Music Commissions award and Kerry County Council and Creative Ireland through the Creative Engagement in Communities award.
