A programme of music inspired by Irish language and text from across age and genre: poetic writing from the seventh and twentieth century, sean nós song, and new fiction writing, featuring Donnacha Dennehy’s string quartet Céad Slán (One Hundred Goodbyes), and Linda Buckley’s Ó Íochtar Mara (From the Ocean’s Floor) for Iarla Ó’Lionáird, sean-nós singer and string quartet, and Adrian Crowley’s dark new fiction writing as spoken word, with a soundscape devised by Crash Ensemble.
