Music Current

Music Current is a new music festival presented by Dublin Sound Lab showcasing the best in Irish electronic music and contemporary international repertoire, running for three days at Smock Alley Theatre and Contemporary Music Centre from Dublin, 7–9 April 2016.

With events from masterclasses, workshops and concerts running over two different venues, Smock Alley Theatre (Concerts) and Contemporary Music Centre (masterclasses & workshops), the festival is entirely embedded into one area in the city, Temple Bar, and features public concerts, composer opportunities specifically a new work commission of 2,500 euro. The festival provides opportunities for performance, collaborations and professional development in music.
