Brian Carson
Brian started voluntary promotion of jazz and other musics in Belfast in the late 1970’s. He founded Project Jazz, a promotions collective, in the early eighties to support modern forms of jazz and provide a platform for local musicians. He was employed by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland from 1989 to 1995 in a jazz development role. In 1995 he set up the not-for-profit promotions company Moving on Music and currently fills the post of CEO.
