SuCarMuS - Sustainable Careers in the Music Sector
This call for applications, in the framework of the project SuCarMuS (Sustainable Careers in the Music Sector), is addressed to young entrepreneurs in the field of music (producers, managers, promoters, labels, etc.), who would like to increase their understanding of the music sector processes and dynamics, gaining exposure to key role models and developing partnerships with peers for long-term networking and support.
About the project
SuCarMuS (Sustainable Careers in the Music Sector) is a program consisting of a series of training sessions for young music professionals. It aims to help young music professionals to get a grasp of the music sector ecosystem, while encouraging them to network on an international level.
Participants will engage to a year-long program of training activities including two intensive residentials, online mentoring/training sessions provided by experienced international music professionals and an international networking meeting, designed to stretch them intellectually and personally.
SuCarMuS is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union through the Music moves Europe – Training scheme for young music professionals programme, coordinated by Cyprus Music Information Centre (CY) and implemented in partnership with the Institute for Research on Music and Acoustics (GR)Acoustics (GR) and Piranha Arts – World Music Expo (WOMEX).
