Chiswick Choir - 2021 Choral Composition Competition

Deadline: 22 March 2021 17:00

Chiswick Choir is delighted to announce our 2021 Choral Composition Competition to be funded by a legacy from Robin Johnson, a long standing member of the Choir. Throughout his life, Robin had connections with the sea, sailing and the river Thames, so we have chosen the theme ‘On the Water’.

The competition brief is for a choral piece lasting between four and five minutes. It should be for mixed choir accompanied by piano or organ. Composers may choose their own text, which may be sacred or secular in content.
