A one-day symposium on Practice as Research (PaR) processes in the creative arts at the Purcell House, All Hallows Campus, on Wednesday 20thMarch 2019.

For this first PaR symposium we are interested in exploring contemporary approaches to Sound Design and Music Composition, particularly in how we might share interdisciplinary connections and collaborations across different arts practices (e.g. computer science, sonic arts, dance, theatre, film, visual arts and performance art).

The aim of the symposium is to function as a creative colloquium for PaR researchers to connect and share their work, and to identify important questions that will inform future meetings.
