Music & Musings: Seán Doherty

Join ConTempo Quartet for a series of candlelit concerts, in association with the Contemporary Music Centre, featuring new music and conversations with composers and performers, and audience engagement, in the Black Gate Cultural Centre.

 

This event features composer Seán Doherty.  ConTempo will perform his String Quartet No. 3 The Devil’s Dream.  

 

This work will be paired with excerpts from Smetana’s String Quartet No. 1 From My Life.

 

These performances will be interspersed with conversations with composers and performers and lively engagement with the audience, chaired by Linda O’Shea Farren of the Contemporary Music Centre.
