The series continues with this programme exploring aspects of collaboration in music and life. The concepts of cycles, transitions, emergence, divergence and convergence are aspects we all grapple with in life.
This concert represents all of these elements with the featured musicians collaborating across genre, where leaning into VUCA (vulnerability, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity) is essential to find an integrative approach to working and making music. Music is the perfect vehicle for this exploration.
The Art of Collaboration is an open-ended invitation to audiences to participate by reflecting on their own personal experiences whilst mindfully engaging with the performance experience through embodied presence in the moment.
Programme includes:
Traditional, original & contemporary musics from and for the world with new works by Matthew Berrill, Kenneth Edge and Christopher Norby.
This concert will be recorded for future radio broadcast Near fm: nearfm.ie
