Kirkos Ensemble featuring Andrew Hamilton premiere

Kirkoskammer returns on Monday 17th July, sharpening its focus on clarinetist Léonie Bluett. 

July’s concert features a strong core of Irish and Ireland-based composers, with the world premiere of a new work by Andrew Hamilton, commissioned with funds from the Arts Council, and another Kirkos outing for Kevin Volans’ clarinet:solo, originally written for Léonie. This virtuosic and colourful programme will be completed by Jonathan Nangle’s Particle, Johannes Kreidler’s Two Pieces for Clarinet and Video and more.
