Elver Gleams - A Celebration of the Music of Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin

On the occasion of his retirement from the University of Limerick, Professor Mícheál Ó Súilleabháin is being celebrated at a gala concert at the University Concert Hall Limerick on Tuesday November 22nd.  The concert will include some of his best-known works, performed by the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, with soloists Mel Mercier (bodhrán), Kenneth Edge (soprano sax), Niall Keegan (flute), Pádrai​c​ Keane (uileann pipes),  Ras Michael Courtney (dance), students from UCC and UL, Eoin and Moley Ó Súílleabháin, Kathleen Turner and The Academy Gospel Choir.
