Written during an 18-month period around 2000, Ian Wilson’s fourth, fifth and sixth string quartets represent a key period in the composer’s career. The Callino Quartet perform the quartets alongside the composer’s ‘Lyric Suite’, a work from 2004 commissioned by RTÉ lyric fm.
