CMC EVENTS IN JUNE

OPEN DAY, 13 JUNE

  • Mr John O'Donoghue TD, Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism, visits the Contemporary Music Centre to mark the 20th anniversary and launch the Old City/New Music project, 5.00pm.
  • Reviewing 20 years and looking forward: illustrated talk on CMC's library and sound archive of 20th and 21st century Irish music. Eve O'Kelly, Director, CMC, 2.00pm.

Uilleann piper Liam O'Flynn features in this classic recording of Shaun Davey's popular work, which is performed by the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra at the National Concert Hall this month.
