TAKING PLACE TONIGHT, 3 JUNE, is the latest of CMC's
Birthday Interviews. Composer Raymond Deane, who was
fifty in January, is in conversation with Benjamin Dwyer
at 6.30pm in CMC.

COMPOSER OF THE MONTH for June is Jurgen Simpson, whose
second opera, Thwaite, will be premiered in London next

Boydell's 'A Pack of Fancies for a Travelling Harper'
(1970) and Ian Wilson's 'In blue sea or sky' (2000),
