The contemporary Irish lunchtime concert, 4 February, will take place in the Auditorium Conservatoire Frederick Chopin and features the world premiere of a new work entitled For Hands by Irish composer Peter Moran, as well as Moran's work Beageens. For Hands was written especially for the weekend and is for piano four hands, it will be performed by Irish composers Peter Moran and Judith Ring. Peter Moran was invited by the Conservatoire in Autumn 2011 to visit the Conservatoire and devise a series of workshops for piano students. Following on from this further workshops have been planned for during the 5th Contemporary Keyboard Weekend, 3 – 5 February 2012.
