The concert programmes for the day will be an eclectic mix of new instrumental, electro-acoustic and electronic music. The Contemporary Music Centre will document the marathon throughout the day with video coverage and a special video podcast will be on the Centre's web site www.cmc.ie after the event.

The Contemporary Music Centre is Ireland's national archive and resource centre for new music, supporting the work of composers throughout the Republic and Northern Ireland. The Centre is supported by the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.

The Contemporary Music Centre would like to acknowledge the support of the Digital Media and Arts Research Centre (DMARC) at the University of Limerick and the Irish Chamber Orchestra for hosting this year's marathon and RTÉ LyricFM for covering the event.
