Sibelius Software Demonstration by Paula Curran of Coda Music Technology

Dublin, 1 November 2002

Sibelius is a music notation program designed to notate, edit, play back and print music of every kind, to the highest professional standards. If you write music Sibelius will revolutionise the way you work -- whether you’re a composer, arranger, performer, teacher, student, conductor, copyist or publisher.

This demonstration of Sibelius 2, 6.30pm – 7.30pm Tuesday 19 November 2002 will include a presentation of the main features of the software for composing, including four methods of inputting notes, editing, transposing, part extraction etc. The programme will be displayed on a large screen. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions as well as try out the software on a number of apple macs in the library.

Sibelius 2 provides all the tools for composers to take their music from creation to publication!
