Val Tidone Summer Camp 5 July - 4 August 2013, Italy

The Val Tidone Summer Camp is an innovative program of summer music courses whose aim is to further international cultural exchanges. Lessons will take place in a campus located in various beautiful castles of the Val Tidone, such as the US Summer Camps.
Students can take part in our Camp as active students or as auditors. All active participants must attend at least one course (Compulsory Course). Furthermore they are free to attend a second course (Optional Course).
The lessons will be held by world-wide renown professors and musicians, such as Andrzej Jasinski, Sergej Krylov, Janet Perry, Maria Laura Groppi, Ratko Delorko, Ayami Ikeba, the jazz players Mattia Cigalini (head of "Val Luretta Jazz" Workshop), Bebo Ferra and many others.
There are many different financial grants and scholarships for students who want to take part in the Summer Camp.

Irish Composition Summer School 2013, Ireland

The Irish Composition Summer School 2013 will take place at DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, Rathmines, Dublin, from 1-10 July. Students will write for combinations of piano, violin and cello, as we welcome this year the Fidelio Trio as our resident ensemble. The principal guest composer is Deirdre Gribbin, and the course directors are Nicola LeFanu and Martin O'Leary. Ian Brabazon will be technology director and recording engineer.

'SYNTHETIS' International Summer Course for Composers, Poland

The Music Gardens Foundation would like to invite students and young composers to participate in the International Summer Course for Composers SYNTHETIS, which will take place in Radziejowice Palace (located 50 km from Warsaw) between 13-28 August 2013.
The key objective of SYNTHETIS 2013 is considerable integration of the composing circles and providing a supportive platform for mutual exchange of experiences and knowledge, as well as allowing all participants to develop their artistic skills and raise their qualifications.
The main theme of this year's course is computer technology in music. We have invited many outstanding musical personalities to be our lecturers: Miguel Azguime, Cezary Duchnowski, Zugmunt Krauze, Mauro Lanza, Mauricio
Sotelo, Frances-Marie Uitti, Chen Yi and Agata Zubel.

Composing in the Wilderness Field Seminar 10-23 July 2013, USA

A one-of-a-kind experience for adventurous composers. Draw inspiration from Alaska's wilderness, write original music about it, and hear it performed - all within two weeks! Space is limited, only nine participants allowed.
