Garrett Sholdice in York

The Chimera Ensemble perform a work by Garrett Sholdice on 26 June.

In Memoriam Hunter S. Thompson, a work which Sholdice wrote for 2 electric guitars with digital delay units, receives its third performance by the York-based ensemble in the Jack Lyons Concert Hall at the University of York.

The performance comes a month after another performance of Garrett Sholdice's work, ...silent, listening to the air becoming no air becoming air again for two cellos and Javanese gamelan, which was performed for the second time by Gamelan Sekar Petak and cellists James Whittle and Chris Mullender.
